BIO:
Luke Combs is an American Country Western Music singer, and songwriter. Born in Huntsville, North Carolina on March 2nd, 1980, Combs took a liking to music at an early age. Combs would Start to take music more seriously in high school and during his high school years, he would eventually be invited to perform at Carnegie Hall.
Combs would later go to college at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. It was during those college years that he took a job at a local bar called the Parthenon. Once working there, he was able to convince the owner to let him play, and he would play his first solo gig at the very bar that originally hired him as a bouncer to a capacity crowd.
The Voice:
One year when the television show/singing competition "The Voice" was having auditions in Atlanta Georgia, Luke decided that he would audition. He was able to make it past the first 2 rounds in the competition, and the next round would be the round where you are actually 'on the show" and performing on TV. Luke would receive a letter from the show stating that he did not make it to the next round because " He was not interesting enough to be on the show".
